Human Computer Interaction and Science Fiction Films

I like science fiction. The genre offers authors and filmmakers an opportunity to place their agents in fictious environments and to speculate how they would react.
Isaac Asimovs Foundation epic for instance tells a story based on the rise and fall of the roman empire under different circumstances in a distant future. Everybody willing to learn about politics and intrigues should read it in my opinion.
A special challange of the genre is to make a believable prediction of future developments. How will society evolve, how technology?
I am interested in the filmic depiction of future technology.
Together with my colleagues Andreas Butz and Michael Schmitz I investigate since 2003 how science fiction movies visualize future technology and its usage.
It would probably be very interesting to do something similar in the field of science fiction literature, but that field seems way too big to be handled by just a few people.
If you have any hints about good examples for human computer interaction in science fiction movies, please contact me.
